XL vs. XLT wiring

Is the interior wire harness different between the XL and XLT models. What I'm getting at is trying to find out if the wiring going to the doors and seat area are the same if I wanted to put XLT doors and power seats in an XL.

The wiring harness is different between XL and XLT models. I haven't finished my conversion yet, but what I have noticed so far is that the under dash fuse block is different, but the wires are present in the harness up to the doors. If you look under the kick panels, the wiring terminates at a plug that already has the matching *blank* plug. On the XL model, the harness that connects to this plug and continues the wiring into the door is missing. I have been trying to find the part number for this harness extension for several weeks now in my spare time without any luck.

I have been able to get my power locks working properly because the wire in the existing harness has power like it is supposed to and I just ran the power to the lock switches from there. The under dash fuse block has to be replaced in order to get power to the remaining wires for the power windows and mirrors because the XL fuse block is missing the connections for the relays on the back side that complete the wiring connections to the aforementioned plug under the kick panel.

As far as the power seats are concerned - I do not have an answer for you there. I had not planned on installing power seats in my truck, so I have not researched the wiring for that conversion.

The one thing I have not done is find an XLT truck and locate the part number tag on the in-door harness to get the part number myself. Hopefully, I will have time to get that information soon so I can complete my conversion.

Ok, so there's a chance I can get power windows and locks. I think that just getting some good boneyard doors is the ticket. I'm not too worried about the power seats; it was just a question I had. Good luck and let me know if you get some door harness part numbers.
