I have a 94 f150 that when you take the key out the truck's buzzer/warning alarm will go off with three sets of 5 buzzes.

If you open the door it does it again it does it it all the time. there really is no pattern as to why. ?

So, perhaps it might be an airbag issue? Are you still under warranty? If you got beepers or buzzers giving you a code, then it's a pretty good indication that there might be a problem.

 

I have a 03 F150 Fx4 that dings when you open the door and the keys are still in the ignition. Is there anyway to disable this?

 

Yes. Take the keys out of the ignition!

Although you don't own a '95 Mustang, I did find this website. I'm sure there are similar modules and wires that can be cut.

I am thinking, though, that the chime may be some anti-theft device (to help you remember to remove your keys from the ignition).

I'd be curious what an insurance company would say if the the truck was recovered and the company discovered the chime feature wasn't covered (sorry, I couldn't resist that one!) because the chime was disabled.

 

my truck when you take the keys out of the igniton, it still dings. even after you shut the door it still dings. And sometimes the dome light and door light stay on for a long time, it REALLY ANNOYING.
