I have a 1999 f150 w/ sotf 4x4 switch. The bulb is out. I pulled the switch out and found that the bulb comes out easily. I've found out that you can't buy the bulb. I've been to auto supply, radio shacks, electrical specialty stores w/ no luck. Ford says you have to buy the switch for $42.00. The bulb has a weird base (3/4" long plastic w/ terminals.) I can't stand things like this

Does anyone have any other ideas? If not I will check local junkyards.

The on the fly 4x4 switch is lighted? Either I never notice it or its burnt out. Im going to go check my 1999 F150 4x4 right now.
