HELP!! Instrument panel illumination

I recently installed a alarm and remote start.

After installation I can not get the instrument panel lights and heater/ac and radio lights to come on.

There was so many wires I am afraid that I accidently unplugged a harness while I was under there.

Is there such a harness and where is it located? Does anyone have any knowledge on how I can fix my truck? I have already checked all fuses and they are all good.

Thanx for any help

MAX

Did you have to cut any wires?
Sounds like you have an open circuit on the Light blue/red wire coming out of your headlamp switch.
Make sure that wire is intact and not cut

I didn't have to cut any wires I just tied into a few. Thanx I'll check it out. What is most likely the dealerships response going to be if I have to take it in to get fixed? I s there any chance that they won't say anything about the alarm?

Would this also keep the dome lights from coming on when I roll that switch to the right of the headlamp switch all the way up?

I would double check your wires.. sounds like you got something crossed.. If you cant figure it out, take it to the dealer...
BUT be pleasant, and they will will probably take care of it for you.
If you act like a *****, then will probably charge you for it.

Thanx, I have a feeling that they are going to charge me.

What would be a round about price to fix that?

Tough to say, because electrical involves time tracing/checking circuits. Depends on how long it takes them to find it I guess.
