Overdrive Light Flashes

Question Overdrive Light Flashes
My overdrive light flashes on and off. The flashing is erratic and it stops if you push the shift lever forward. Suspect a short. Does anyone know where the common place for this wire to be cracked??

post this in transmissions, you may have a problem with the trans.

mine did that, and they said i had 1500 dollars worth of transmission damage. more or less they told me that everything electrical in the transmission was now shorted out.
