interior lights

When I open my drivers side door....no lights. Works on the passenger side. I've looked, and can't find a plunger in door cab frame or door. It is a 99 Ford f150, super cab. Any clue on where to look? Thanks for the help. Mike

The switch is in the door latch. The opposite end of the hinges, spray with WD40 to clean and lube it then open and close the door a few times. Normally it sticks open but sounds like yours stuck closed.

WD-40 doesn't really last a whole long time (it's not really a lubricant, just a penetrating fluid)...once you pinpoint the problem, you may want to step up to a lubricant like some graphite powder.

Ok...Found the problem. Took door panel off. Removed moisture barrier. Hummmm...what is this wire that is into. Put said wire back together and interior lights come on. It's magic. Thanks for the input though. Good site to come to. Mike
