Door lock wiring issue

Having thought my actuators were dead, i ordered new ones. I plugged them in to see if they would work and nothing. BTW i have a 97 F150 with a aftermarket remote start and alarm. The actuators died about a month apart and about a year and half after the remote start was installed. I started trouble shooting and this is where im at:

Both the pink/yellow and the pink/light green wires are hot going into both switches (approx. 12.3 volts) Is this right? Also when i use the test light to touch either wire i can hear the relay clicking and the light lights up. On a different friends truck when i touch the wires his doors lock/ unlock and the test light doesnt light up.

Also BOTH wires going into the actuator are hot whenever the switch is pressed to lock or unlock ( also is this normal).

When i press the switches i can hear a relay under the passengers dash click. I know the switches are good as they work fine when i put them in my roommates truck. (His truck is without the remote anti theft personality module and mine has it so the wiring to the switches are different.)

Thanks for any help.
