Xm Radio Ant. Mount

hey everyone i got an xm radio unit for x-mas!!! i am installing it myself and was just wondering what people have done to install the antenea(spelling???) of the top of the truck, or is there any other places. I would rather not drill in to my babies roof in fear of ever selling the xm for some odd reason?? haha but i have heard something about going threw the head liner and out the 3rd brake lights??? how does that work? long enough cord or would i need more? and also people have said something about inside the truck by the bottom window?? i hear you have to have a couple inches of metal around it but does that work pretty good? any help will be great guys oh by the way i have a 00 f-150 xlt with the super cab(extended cab)

Hey racer, check out the "other Audio" thread. See the thread on Sirius antenna install. There are good instructions and pictures posted there.
