Question Install a light in my truck bed?

I have a 2000 F150 and want to wire an interior light for my camper shell. Is there an existing plug/harness or should I wire it from the towing plug? I will probably use LED lights so amps should not be much of a problem.
Thanks in advance
Tom

An easy way is to use an inline fuse holder off the battery and run a line back under the truck to the area where you want the lamp. You may need a seperate switch if there is none in the cap.
This will give you full time power.
If you go off a trailer connector it won't be full time unless the lights are on.
Another way is to tap in the intieror light circuit that feeds the outside cab box light. Then you have control with the dash switch.

Thanks for replying bluegrass - That's the way I was leaning but I was just hoping that there was an existing harness so I wouldn't have to tap into the battery and run the wire.
Thanks again.
