Alarm System Reset

Alarm System Reset

I recently diconnected my neg battery cable to reset a check engine light that was caused by a loose gas cap. Since then my alarm system is all out of wack. When I try and use the keyless entry pad the system goes off before I can even get the second number pushed ......anybody know what could be causing this?....and if so, suggestions to clear it....It appears to be a VSS System#6

If you have a VSS system then you need to set the "Entry Delay" option to ON....it's under Option Bank #3. See the attached link PDF for instructions on how to put your system into programming mode and then setting your options accourding to the right table for your alarm system...
