Climate Control and Radio hot to the touch

I noticed the digital displays on my Climate Control and Radio are hot when they are on. I'm guessing somewhere around 100-120 degrees F. Is something wrong or is this normal?

My 02 radio gets warm and CDs that I pull out are even hotter. I believe that hot radios are a problem that Ford has been having. Mine has a fan that runs when ever the key is on. Try to listen for the sound of a fan. I am guessing the worse case might be you have to replace the radio.

Good luck.

tman,
It's not a problem, it's a "feature." If you're CDs get hot enough, the stereo will turn off the CD and display a message letting you know it's overheated. I guess that was easier than fixing the problem
