Help Help Asap Wont Start !
Ok guys i need help. I own a custom bodyshop and my 99 F150 might just be a show truck if i dont get some help. Heres the deal
99 F150 4x4 4.6 4R70w, Swapped out the 4.6 to a 5.4 out of a 03 Excursion(coil on plug) figured it would be nicer to have the 5.4 PCM and coil on plugs, So i have the wiring for the 03 Excursion on the 5.4 engine. and i got a PCM out of a 02 F150 5.4 4r70w. The dash harness is still the 99 4.6 harness.... But i probed all the wires and they all seem to have the same color and location. The truck will not start. It just cranks. tried everything, checked fues all are ok. The theft light is blinking. But i have 2 keys and nothing, tried disconnecting the battary and nothing, fuel pump is giving out pressure and there is power to the coils. Dont know if this is a PATS problem or another problem. Someone please help ASAP. i have tons of money in this show truck and im trying to Get R Done and its not working.. thanks guys.

It's a PATS problem since the LED is fast blinking when you attempt to start it.
You have a PATS mismatch between the keys and the info programmed into the PCM from the original keys.
You need the PATS keys for the vehicle that the donor PCm came out of.
The only choice that I believe you have is to tow the vehicle to a Ford dealership so they can reprogram the PCM to your ignition keys. See if you can find a technician that is willing to do some work on something that is definitely not factory original.
