autolock blows fuse 29 2002 f150

autolock blows fuse 29 2002 f150

Fuse 29 blows when i take my foot off the brake.The fuse goes to my autolocck. The powerlock still work .

sounds like a short in the wiring...if it's under warranty, take it in for a repair...

If not, try disabling the auto-lock feature in the owners manual. It may not be the "fix" but could stop blowing the fuse and stop the headaches.

Disabling the auto-lock feature did work.I was wondering what sent the signal to the lock ,thats probably where the problem is.

If you have the factory RKE, then I would start pointing fingers at the CSM (Central Security Module) located up on the firewall, driver's side, above the brake pedal (white box with possibly some numbers on the front face that match the keyless entry code.)

It could be something as a defective relay to a short in the wiring.
