Question Cigarette Lighter won't work

I have a 99 F-150 4x4 4.6 Triton V8 Supercab and for some strange reason the Cigarette lighter quit working. I checked all the fuses inside and out side under the hood and non are blown. Can anyone tell me a simple way to get to the connections for the lighter so I can check the connection. Or offer any other advise. I should would appreciate the information.

Thanks
Mike Mathis

Maybe it's a sign you should stop smoking.

Seriously, if it's the cig lighter itself not heating up, try testing one from another vehicle and yours in the other veh.

If you hook a test light to a good ground, the "hot" part of the plug is at the very bottom / center. Assuming your fuse is indeed good, check for power here first. If you've got nothing there, follow the circuit / wires back.

I quit smoking 15 years ago. Just wish the plug would work. I checked the plug with a test light and a good ground and no power there so I guess I need to follow the wiring back and see where I end up
