I cannot charge my cell phone. I put it into the plug... nothing. So I bought a new charger. Try it...again nothing. Try my wifes... again nothing.... so I push in the cigarette lighter, and that works... well I can just use that then, right? Wrong. Try all 3 chargers...nothing. not one of the 3 charges work in any of the 12v outlets. So, just to check, I tried the cigarette lighter in the other outlet, nothing. It only works in the cigarette lighter one.

Anyways... I don't have a manual, so I pull all the fuses,... they all are fine.

I am confused... what could it be? any ideas?

 

Ahh, never mind.. I found it... a different fuse for each one... one under the hood and one inside the cab....

hmmm....I wonder what the thought process behind that was....

oh, well, at least it is fixed....


Now I can have a charged phone...yay

 

Usually the higher current accessories have the fuses located in the engine bay. it would be god awful wiring mess to try to stuff all those fuses and wires/relays into a box in the cab.
