pic of door trim 2000 f150??

Evening, I am brealing down and adding power locks and windows but... Ford scimped and I was not lucky enough to already have the wiring.

So build from scratch right!! One of many things i have picked up from here (warranty what warranty!?)

My question is for 2000 f150 reg cab. The wiring diagrams are not a problem for me. what is are the switches 6 different points... means 36 different ways to wire them...

Could someone post a picture of the underside of that trim panel that will show which color goes where as the diagram does not mention that. (one of the harness too ) one more favor, get a good one of the lock switch too.

I will do a sep by step write up when I am done which may be a little bit Master switch is 71.00 just for switch!!!
you would think Ford fills' em with gold

I will be checking Ebay and junkyards till i get that (Last Piece needed.
Thanks in advance>

Sorry for long post

I can't help you with the pics right now, but maybe later in the week. You need to be aware that there are two different wiring systems for the power door locks. One for trucks with the keyless entry system and one for trucks without. Check the article in the maintenance section about the wire colors for that. It describes it a bit.

I am just going to use the diagram of the one with out keyless entry the switch wiring would still be the sam though I imagine.
I am just trying to save a very long step of figuring out what contact on the switch does what...
Looking forwars to the picture though

There are three pics in my album. Here's a link:

I'm not sure if you will be able to pick out individual wires, the pics just aren't that clear. I would be really tempted to go to a dealer and take a truck for a 'test drive'. These switch plates just pull directly up if you pry on the end closest to the front of the truck.

Once u get that all done and figured out is there anychance u could make up some directions? on my 03 Reg Cab XL Sport i have unconnected wire harnessse behind my kickpanels and im pretty sure there for power windows and doorlocks.. But I dont have the switches yet and the wire harness that goes from switches to cab.. (ford wants abotu 227 for the wire harness) so id rather just not use a harness .. but if u can tell me (on the switches) what is what like which prong is 12v and which is ground.. then i can most likly figure out the rest!.. Or if u can take pics of everything that'd be awesome too.. I am also converting to power windows and doorlocks.. Thanks!
