remote start

is $349 installed about the right price? this will be done at a dealership, but not "ford" remote start. i was told it would be done by some other company that comes to the ford dealership and that they will put in thier system - not code alarm (what ford uses as i was told) and they offer a limited lifetime warranty.
when i had my aftermarket alarm added to my corvette, the installler royally screwd up the corvette electronics.
does anyone have any experience with aftermarket remote starts?

I had mine put in by the Dealer. After a year I had a problem with the bypass module. Called my salesman, told me when the installers would be there, and fixed it in 10 min.. My dad had one installed at an aftermarket place and he had alot of problems. Mine was $300 at the dealership....
