I would like to up date a 1980 f100 , the body is straight and solid. my dad bought the truck 16yrs ago. the truck was parked on a farm for 12 out of the 16yrs. the paint is fading in places. but no rust . the interior is very bad shape. the dash is cracked ontop in several places. the seat is spliting all over.and door panels are faded. i thought about replacing the interior with junkyard parts. when i found a "junked out 97 f150 rolled over" and wonder if engine, fuel injection, trans ,dashboard, and all electrical would fit my truck, i allready swapped the seats and door panels out. any info would help. thanks.

 

Sounds like a pretty ambitious project. The engine swap with allof the engine control components would be a job in itself. Would prob. be cheaper to get a jc whitney catalog and see what they might have as far as interior parts.
