Angry 99 F-150 won't start and theft light is flashing

First, my truck started running rough and I know I need to replace some COPs. On the way home the other night the transmission started downshifting for no reason, like it was going into passing gear, then the truck would die. I could turn the key off then it would restart. Well, it did it again and the theft light start blinking really fast. Now it won't start no matter what I do.
Any Ideas?

You've got a PATS issue. Try another key. Make sure there aren't any big metal objects hanging off your keychain next to the ignition key. You could have a faulty key(s), a faulty transciever, a problem in the HEC module, or in the wiring between them.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for acouple of mins and then reconnecting it? My 97 f150 does strange things once inawhile. Disconnecting the battery usually clears things up.
