97 F150 Turn Signal Multi-Switch Springs
Hi -
I have a 1997 F-150. I have taken apart the turn signal multi-switch to clean the green goo off of the contacts. When I took it apart I tried to carefully look and see where everything went but there was this one spring about the size of the spring inside a ball point click pen laying inside the housing. I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out where this spring goes. All the other springs look intact. Does anyone out there have an exploded view diagram of the multi-function switch or does anyone know where this spring might go? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Jim, but it is actually the base of the switch I have taken apart that I need some pictures or a diagram of that would include the correct placement of the springs. Thanks again for trying to help.

THERE IS THREE SPRINGS ON THE TURN SIGNAL LEVER UNDERNEATH. ONE IS BENT IN A CURVE AND TWO TOO THE DETENTS. THE CURVED ONE POPPED OUT ON ME AND IT TOOK A LONG TIME FOR ME TO FIGURE IT OUT.
