Brake controllers Again
Hello Guys,
well I bought a TT and need a brake controller and a new Wiring Harness .I see Ford has a Wiring Harness for about 55.00 that plugs right into the old 4 pin connector. Question is My truck 01 Screw with 4.6 and No tow Package will that Prodigy Brake controller Plug right in to it? Also Does the 4.6 come with Tranny cooler and are they tough to Install. Any recommend tranny coolers?

Actually the Ford harness replaces the 4-pin harness, both plug into this connector on the left frame rail.
Worth the $55 IMO to keep from splicing wires as in the picture above with the generic 4-way to 7-way harness like you can get from the local Wallzmarts. If I'm not mistaken the trucks have been wired from factory for the tow package since '97 but don't quote me on that.
There should be a connector under the dash that the brake controller plugs into.
