I just bought a set of power / heated Lariat seats for my 2000 f150 xlt. The plug on the drivers seat has 4 wires, does anyone know which wire is for what? I did find a plug behind the passenger side kick panel that I was told was for the seat, but there is only a black wire and a green one.The plug isn't the same either.

 

The EVTM shows the power seat part as :

Dark Green Wire is from Battery Junction box position 112, 30 A fuse. This is power to the power seat control switch.
Black wire is ground to the Power Seat Control Switch.

The EVTM shows the heated seat part as :

White w/ Light Blue stripe : Power from Central Junctio box fuse position 12 ( ? ) 10 A fuse is power to the seat.
Black is ground to the heated seat module.

The Connector on the driver's side is a loom that has the seatbelt switch harness, and the 4 wires above together. The seat belt plugs directly into the seat belt switch on the base of the seat belt latch, and the other is one a connector that is mounted to the seat itself.

For the pass side heater, the color codes are the same as the driver's side. I don't have a power pass side seat to check it.

Thanks for the response sscully,but there is no plug for the seat at the seat belt plug harness. All I have is the 4 wire plug on the new Lariat seat which I guess I will have to run wires from. It has a GREEN WIRE.....a RED WIRE W/Black stripe...... a WHITE WIRE W/Blue stripe....... and an ORANGE WIRE W/Black stripe. There is also a seperate 2 wire plug for the seat belt which is no problem. The only simalar wires to the ones you found are the white w/blue stripe and the green. I don't know where the other 2 should go (orange w blk stripe and red w black stripe)
