Blowing brake fuse & stuck in park
My F-150 '98 is stuck in park. It keeps blowing the brake fuse. I know that is the reason that it is stuck in park because the solenoid isn't receiving the voltage to release the shifter.
Can you give me any suggestions that might be causing the fuse to blow? I thought maybe the brake pressure switch or may the brake switch or one of the rear brake lights blew and somehow causing a short? I'm going to check those out but any help would be great!

checked
I just found out that when I disconnect the brake pressure switch (on top of the master cylinder) that it stops blowing up the fuse. And I can shift it into drive now. So I suspect the switch. How do you test it? I measured around a 115K ohm.
