Air Bag Code 46
LFC 46/DTC B1877/B1885 — DRIVER PRETENSIONER CIRCUIT RESISTANCE HIGH OR LOW. Air bag systems have a 5yr/ 50,000 mile warranty. Do a visual inspection of the wiring running up to the drivers pretensioner(seat buckle) under the divers seat.If you don't see anything I would recommend a trip to the ford dealer.
i've seen the little yellow connectors under the seats get wet from people when they sprayout their interior or steam clean the carpet. and sometimes they get a loose connection from the seat moving back and forth.
thats just acouple quick things to check anymore then that and you would have to disable the air bags and install "simulators" to test the system safely without the chance of accedental deployment.

02 F150 Airbag light
What did you find out about your airbag? My light just started coming on and blinking yesterday. Where do I find the codes to find out what my issue is? I just went over 50,000 on my truck. The first thing to to wrong.
I had an airbag code a few months back but I don't recall the code number. Not 46, I assume. I did find that the little lightbulb in the airbag on/ff switch was burned out. Went to an electronics store and bought a little 12v bulb with leads and replaced myself. Required some soldering.
