I'm planning on installing Troyer pullies and fans on a 97 4.6. I'm thinking I should also go with a dual battery setup. I don't know if it's a good idea or not. I have a stereo, about 700 watts, 390 watts of auxiliary lighting, and a strobe emergency response unit. The strobes have a very low amperage draw but are 240 volt, and the other lights aren't lit at the same time. I'm more worried about the fans kicking on and the radio. Can a 130 amp alternator handle both batts? The other batt will be an Optima deep cycle 500 cca. Thanks!
