Drivers seat and window failure

The drivers side front window used to work when it wanted to.Now it dont work at all and the passenger side window doesnt work from the drivers side controls.Even worse, the drivers seat does not move in the reverse position.Thats right,It goes forward, tilt from front to rear etc.just will not go backwards .And Yes this means that the seat is NOW all the way forward..
Does anyone have any suggestions.

If a eletric motor runs in one direction but not the other Iwould suspect the switch(drivers seat)Sometimes wiggling the switch roughly may make it work . For the windows you will need to remove door panels and check for power to the motor at connector with a test light or volt meter .

You are absolutely correct about the wiggling the button making the seat work.but NOW that doesnt work ,it only worked the first couple of times. So NOW what.Is the switch right there at the button bad?

YES the switch is right behind the trim cover.I think it has wiring attached to it that runs under the seat connecting to the seat frame.Once you remove the trim cover you will see it.
