license plate lamp issues

The story starts with I bought my 2001 F150 Supercrew about 2 weeks ago. I noticed 1 of the 2 license plate lamps was busted. So I bought new lamp covers, put in a new bulb, and put it back together again. Problem is the socket was corroded from being exposed to a New England winter.

So I ordered a whole new wiring harness.

I double checked the part number on the existing one with the one that came in the mail. Exact same numbers, but... different license lamp connectors.

The original wiring harness has the lamp socket built in:

The new wiring harness, again SAME part number, has a different license lamp socket, no bulb option:

Can anyone help me find the part number for the bulb socket that plug into that adapter?
Not the black/argent license lamp covers, but the actual socket that holds the license lamp bulb.

If anyone can read me the part number off theirs I would appreciate it.
I'm assuming this is some redesign, maybe 2003-2004?

Turns out this is the same socket used on the front parking lights.

I'll post pictures once the part arrives next week.
