looking for a switch...

I'm not sure what they're called. They're used for hoods, doors, trunks, and the like. Basically a small stud that when pressed either breaks or makes the circuit...

I've looked at stores around here, but can't find any...

thanks...

That's exactly it! Thanks...

Yes, I looked at Radio shack, but didn't see anything there. The RS here is kinda small, and not always stocked real good...

Cool

Hey closer -

What are you going to use the switches for ?

I might have something that will work better, depending on what you want to do...

A place that installs/sells auto car starters/alarms will have them.

I'm putting lights in the bed (under toneau), and I plan on putting two switchings a rocker and a pin switch as a safety precation to make sure the lights can't come on if the top is down...

I believe you'll want NORMALLY OPEN switches rather than NORMALLY CLOSED then...

Radio Shack does sell some (however, they might not be exactly what you want) as I purchased a couple there when I did my auto-light in my console.

No actually normally closed. I want the circuit closed (complete) when the lid is up, which is the "normal" position for the switch...

I used a normally closed switch on Skagel's lid. Worked like a charm.

Get a Switch like the one used under the hood. When it is up it is on and when it is down it is off. No drilling, no fuss, no muss.
