I've got a 2002 super cab and despite the general consensus, I like the auto door lock feature.

Now the problem. When locking or unlocking the doors with my dealer installed alarm or the lock/unlock door switches, the passenger door will sometimes lock and/or unlock. I removed the door panel, cleaned the contacts on the lock mechanism and lubed it with break free, still does it. I can hear the mechanism, but the button will neither go up or down.

I have an appointment with the local Ford dealer on Monday, but I would like to try and resolve it before then.

Anyone have this problem, if so, how did you fix it?
