You can mount some driving lights behind the grill insert. It might take a little customizing to get them to mount correctly but I have seen others mount them in that location. Also, if you can find some small foglights you can fit them into the stock holes in the bumper. This is where I mounted them on my last truck and where I plan on putting some on my current one when I get some time. The other F150 website (not sure of the name cause I havent been to it in a long time) has detailed instructions on installing the later option.

I've got a set of Hella 550 driving lights with 130 watt bulbs mounted on the cross member behind my grill. I've got them wired with a relay) to come on with my high beams. Works great and the install wasn't bad at all. If you want pictures, drop me an e-mail.

I have driving lights behind the grill, and a set in the bumper on both sides of the licence plate. The set behind the grill are hanging from 2 pieces of angle iron. The bumper set is a Pilot brand kit that came with custom brakets. Just a couple of ideas...

Just had an idea. I have an '04 FX4 with the fog lights. How about using those for driving lights?? Is there a way I can turn the fog lights on without turning on the main headlights?

"Driving lights" are different than "fog lights." Driving beams are for seeing farther down the road with a fairly narrow / long pattern. Fog lights utilize a fairly flat / wide pattern to illuminate under fog and out to the sides and not far down the road - supposedly. You can't turn one into the other without physically changing the lights. Oh by the way, fog lights generally don't **** off oncoming motorists. Driving lights do - even when properly aimed.
