Hi all, I'm new to this forum and hope I can find more info on a problem on my truck. It is a 98 F150 Ext Cab XLT. When I first got it, the cargo lights worked, I never checked the 3rd brake light. About 3 days afterward, the cargo lights wouldn't turn on anymore. I have checked the fuse and replced all 3 bulbs in the unit, still not working. Last time I check the 3rd brake light, it didn't work either.

Interior dome light is still working fine and so is the turn signals and the 2 brake lights next to the tail gate. Can you think of a cause and what I can do to fix the problem? Thanks a million in advance.

 

I looked at another thread about the new "L" 3rd brake light, and then went out to the truck, took the dome light down and also look behind the headliner. Turned out the green plug/connector has become disconnected. All 3 lights are working now.
