Security system that works with keypad
Security system that works with keypad
Hi, all.
I've been trying to find a security system that I can install in my '03 F-150 that will work properly without interfering with the keyless entry remotes or keypad, and where the keypad will actually arm/disarm the security system.
Any suggestions? I haven't been able to find anything.

The Ford 400 Series is full compatible with the factory keyless entry. It retains the factory key fobs.

Oh, and for me, the remote start doesn't matter. My real concern is whether or not the keypad will arm/disarm the system.
thats what i want to know will the keypad disarm the new series alarm i got a number that i am going to call in tomorrow the web site is www.powercallsirens.com
The Ford 400 does not have the remote start.
You arm and dis-arm with the factory key fob or punch the code in the keypad.
If you have the system in "valet", you can't arm with the fob or keypad.
The Ford system is made by Code Alarm.
