Seatbelt alarm in 2003 F-150

Does anyone know how to disconnect the seatbelt alarm in a 2003 F-150 Supercab. I don't mind an alarm that warns you once but I shouldn't have to listen to it repeatedly.
Thanks, Curtis

I think the owner's manual has the process to deactivate the alarm. I can't stand it either. The thing will start going off before I get out to close the garage door and it's still going off when I get back in the truck.

You have to actually buckle it to make it go off. Buckling it completes the circuit. Once you buckle it (with the truck running) you can unbuckle and never hear it again until you turn the truck off.

Like someone else said there may be something in the owner’s manual that will instruct you on what to do to deactivate the alarm to begin with...

It's in the manual. I just did it on my 03 Screw. It's just a series of stuff you have to do. Look up beltminder (I think) in the manual.

Sure enough, it's in the manual. Of course, I followed the procedure to the letter and it didn't work (2 times). I added a couple extra buckle/unbuckle steps to the end of the procedure and now the seatbelt alarm is shutoff.

Thanks for the help.
