headlight switch removal
any tips or pointers on how to remove the headlight switch on a 98 f150?im putting in speed glo gauges and i cant seem to get that damn switch out...

headlight switch removal
on my 2000 expy it just prys out from the bottom. look around the bottom edge , there should be a small indention just right for a small screwdriver. on my 2000 there are little metal spring clips that hold it in place after you push it far enough into the hole in the dash. mine pulls straight out after i get it loose. if you dont see a slot, then it might be different than mine... be careful... my switch costs $55!

It's in the manual, I cant remember the exact procedure but you have to remove the ****, turn i 180degrees and place it back on and turn the **** to release the catch then the switch comes right out.
