On occasion my interior/cargo lights don't work as they should (97 F-150 extended cab). Sometimes when I start out in both daylight and dark hours the lights stay on until I reach 15 MPH. Other times they stay on until they feel like shutting off. And sometimes they shut off as soon as I start the engine. On occasion when I park the truck and shut the engine off the interior/cargo lights will not shut off for a couple of hours. I have and use the automatic headlight on system so I rarely use the headlight switch. I have the off delay for the headlights set at about 10 seconds and the headlights always turn off with this timer but the interior/cargo lights do not. Is this a common problem?
