rearview mirror?

Hey guys and gals, I have a HD 2001, and I was wondering why does my rearview mirror have a on and off button? I remember a year ago it used to have a green light lit up on it? sorry for my dumbness.. ;-)

check your owners manuals all the buttons should be labeled in there.

i would imagine thats so you can turn off the auto dimming mirror.

sometimes they can be a pain in city driving, with the constant up and down.
