Window motor assembly

Hello all. I just purchased a 98 regularcab Lariat with 16k miles and found this forum. It is in great condition except for the power windows. The driver side is very slow and the passenger side does not function at all. I am familiar with the ford power windows as my supercoupe suffered from the same design. The plastic dampeners inside the motor went out on both sides of the Tbird and I replaced them with ½ nuts. I am certain that it is the problem with the truck as well. The passenger side motor will function when not under load. The window motor for the F150 is put together differently and looks riveted. I have the motor out but can’t find a good way to take it apart. Has anyone taken apart their window motor assembly that could lend a hand?

Also upon searching this forum I noticed several topics about door cracks. My truck does not have them yet. Is there a cheap preventive method to keep them from cracking besides not using the windows?

Thank you all, Mike
