02 sensor wiring
At the PCM, pin 87 is circuit #94, Red with a black stripe. This is the input to the PCM for HO2S # 21. This is the one that I used when I had the A/F ratio gauge installed in my truck.
As for which is it on the sensor itself, can't recall. I know that Casper Electronics makes a O2 sensor pigtail that has the correct one with a lead on it, to connect, but I cannot find the one I had at the moment.
You can just tap it at the PCM for the quick and easy way, I never used the one I had purchased with the A/F gauge, it was much easier to do it at the PCM, before it entered the firewall.
Good luck

is the PCM located under the kick panel at the passenger footwell ? I was told by a guy that an a/f guage can give the computer a false reading becuase you are taking the reading off the wire that tells the computer where the a/f ratio is, he has seen a honda not pass smog with an a/f guage installed, and once it was disconnected, it passed fine. Any truth to this ?
That is where the PCM is at, but you can get to the wiring from the other side of the firewall is also an easy place to get the connection at. Requires taking out the battery.
Just so you know, this is the same circuit that is from the O2 sensor. Nothing inbetween the O2 sensor and the PCM.
If it would cause it at one, it would cause it at the other point.
Mine never had to go to a EPA test lane while it was on, but it never set a DTC, and illuminated the CEL/MIL, and the gauge ran in the normal ranges for the TPS.
As for a Honda, got me, I don't own one, to even comment on how it may or may not work. with taping the O2 circuit.
If you are concerned about it, then it is time to weld in a new bung, and put in a seperate O2 sensor. I wouldn't bother, unless you are going with something like a FJO WideBand kit & sensor it is not worth the effort to put in the 2nd bung for the O2 sensor.
Good luck
