Electronic Automatic Temp Control (EATC)

Ok. I know I'm getting crazy here but is there any chance I can put the EATC unit in my 2000 F150 XLT? I know some supercrews have it so it is possible. I know the wiring in back is different than the manual temp control ***** but I think there is a brain module in there somewhere to fix that. Anyone wondering about this or know what I need to purchase or look into. I also have a 97 EB Expedition and would really like to put it in that also. They didn't come out with the EATC until 99 in the Expeditions and from looking at the junkyard I found the inside temp sensor is under the dash cover along with the autolamp sensor so thats one prob solved. Let me know what you know guys. Thanks...

Hey 2v thanks a ton for the helpful info. I will do some investigating on these locations. Hopefully F150's are a little more accessible.
