Unhappy Almost a fire... help please

I have a 1992 F150 that I use for work. (to preserve the 02 Lightning) Here is the problem; After starting it and driving it about 200 yards, I left it in park with the A/C on and motor running to walk into a job site. I was gone about 30 seconds and came back to find the truck not running but the fuel pump sounded as if it was. I could not smell anything outside but inside the cab was a bad electrical burning smell. I immediately discconected the battery and looked for obvious signs. I could not find anything, so I connected it again, all it will do is turn over but not start. The radio and fan motor work. I have had this truck for 5 years and there is no radio/mod work inside. I know there is a recall on some ignition switches but from what I can tell it stops with '91 trucks. Can anybody help with information?
