programming the key fob's...

I did the regular check, I could not find any thing...I have a 2001 SCREW with the key fobs, I tried to program them to my 2000PSD, dont ask why, now the key fob dont work on the SCREW, I changed the battery on the fob, no such luck...

Is the programing the same as the PSD??? 7 turns of the key and then hit a button???

I am trying to get back to normal...anybody on the program instructions??

2000PSD and 2001 SCREW do not use the same programming procedures. Besides, programming the transmitter to the 2000PSD would in no way affect the transmitter being programmed to the 2001 SCREW. Removing the battery will not unprogram the transmitter either.

Here's the programming process:

2000PSD:
Cycle ignition key from OFF to RUN 5 times within 10 seconds. The locks will lock then unlock to indicate you are in programming mode. Press a button on the first transmitter within 20 seconds, the locks will lock and unlock to indicate it was programmed. Do the same for all additional transmitters (typically you can program up to 4, all must be programmed at the same time). Turn the key off, the locks will cycle once more to indicate you have exited program mode.

2001 SCREW:
Cycle ignition key from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds.
