Question Gremlins in my Windshied Wipers?

For some reason unknown to me or anyone else except for my truck my windshield wipers now have a life of their own. They will all of a sudden activate, it varies how many times they will cycle. The speed varies also. usually one to four time is the most common. The wiper switch with delay works normally when it is on. Turning the switch on and off sometimes stops the problem but not always.

My truck is still in warranty but I don't want to have the dealer give it back to me with one of those..."We coundn't duplicate the problem" invoices.

Thanks!

It's the switch on the end of the lever... I'm going to have mine replaced as the intermittent wipers have a mind of their own.

I've giggled mine to the point that I can reproduce it...

Take it to your dealership and explain your situation.
It sounds like the Multi-function switch (turn signal switch)
If they don't want to fool with it or cannot verify, take to another dealership that will welcome your business. And notify the owner of the dealership.. These switches are prone to this type of behavior, as I have seen first hand..

Good Luck!!!
