HELP! How do I get to the Fuse Box?

While I was checking a fuse in the fuse box, I must have somehow pushed the connector back into the fuse box or broke it. When I try to put the fuse back in the slot, it falls right out. There is nothing in the slot holding the fuse.

How do I get to the inside of the fuse box? Remove the fuse box?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Rajun

Which fuse box? I dont know about inside one...but on my 99..fuse box (under hood) was removable. As i recall there were some kind of clips holding it in place. Not the top.. but the body.

For me there was enough play to flip it around to check bottom side..i was tracing wires at the time..so that helped me to see bottom side. I assume holder came loose or broke???

If its inside panel...it had to go in..so it should come out?

May/maynot help?

Good luck....OT

This may sound silly, but I had the exact same problem once and it turned out I was trying to put the fuse back in the wrong slot. (Several are not used and do not have contacts.) Try that first.
