Anyone running dual batteries in an F150?

Haven't seen it myself yet, but I'm curious to see a dual battery setup in an F150
My truck is a 99 with the V-6. I'd really like to see a setup in a similar rig.
Either that or if someone knows of a kit for sale somewhere to do this I'd like to see that too.

You need a battery seperator that will monitor the charging of the two batteries . www.sgcworld .com has one but others are available. Thats about the only thig you need.

Thumbs up Thanks-

Do you know of anywhere I can get a good second battery tray or battery box?

I'm setting up to install a power inverter, a winch, and a liftgate on my F150. I want to run the accessories off a breaker panel from the second battery. Do you know of anyone who does a good heavy duty breaker panel for auto use too?

metalsmith,

Wrangler Northwest Power Products has something like you are looking for. They also have a battery tray. I personally am looking for something a little on the cheaper side. Here is there link if you want to take a look. http://www.wranglernw.com./
