nasty headlights

My headlights have a nasty yellowish film on them. It really kills my brightness and makes driving at night suck. I was told by someone that chrome cleaner will get that off. Any other sugguestions??

Meguirs No 9 Swirl Remover. Works like a champ. Be sure to remove it in a buffing motion with a clean cloth.

surfnpaty,

I am assuming on the outside of the headlight, if it is on the inside, good luck...time for a new set of buckets.

On the outside, a very mild polish is tooth paste. Take the toothpaste out of the bathroom and use this to polish it. Takes a while but is is a very safe way to do it.

Whiteing toothpastes are slighly more abrasive then normal toothpaste.

Dad showed this to a Owner of a Bounder RV in a travel park once, he almost crapped himself to find out it worked.

SMR will also work, but you need to be careful with the amount of pressure lexan can scratch easier then paint.
