Just thought I'd mention I got my new headlights in today... I absolutely love this setup. Same thing I had on my previous car, so I new what I was in for... I've got Farenheit Xenon Super Whites ($18 shipped) and a heavy duty wiring harness from www.suvlights.com since these lights are 100W. To anyone thinking of doing something similar I highly recommend it. I can see so much more, and so much clearer. I hate the dim yellow factory lights on most vehicles... plus this install was so clean and easy. There was even a ground point behind each headlight, as if it was meant for this...

Also, if anyone is interested in Sylania SilverStars I've got a $10 mail-in rebate coupon if someone wants to send me a SASE... But here's my two cents on them... I bought a set ($40 @ AutoZone), and they had them back within the hour. I put one of my factories back in and could hardly tell a difference...

I love my silverstars, I'm not sure why you didnt notice a difference it is quite drastic.

I had a few questions for you about the SilverStar bulbs. Do they give off the import blue color, or are they white? I want some new bulbs but Im trying to avoid the cheapo Honda Civic blue light look. It didnt look like they were blue from your pictures but I just wanted to make sure.

Also, do you happen to have the measurements/blueprints for your box? I need to replace mine becuase it interferes with the 60/40 console and i really liked the design of your sub box.

They do not give off any shade of blue they are purely white. I am really happy with them. As far as brightness they are brighter than stock but the fog lights are what really do it for me, they are like 65 watt rather than 35 or something like that. I'll get back to ya, I have never measured it.

 

hmmm... not sure what happened, but mine didn't look anything like that when I put them in...

However, I too am interested in a box like yours. I've been toying with several different designs for my 12"...
