My 98 F-150 XLT seatbelt warning light does not recognize when the seatbelt is connected. Scenario: Start truck and immediately connect seatbelt. Light stays on. I have had the truck since new and it just started doing this.

Any ideas where to start looking? The electrical connection to the seatbelt is good.

If it matters, I have the keyless entry/alarm, the lighted entry, etc. All that stuff works fine.

I have one other problem... The key in ignition chime often chimes two or three times after I pull the key out of the ignition and open the door. It has done this for several years.
