A/C blower staying on, help!

Im hoping someone else out there ran into this problem. I owned this truck for about a month now(97 f150 extended cab, 4.2 auto) and this is now the second time this happned. I woke up again this morning to a totally dead battery and after getting a new one and putting it in, I noticed the a/c blower was running.
I also notice if i turn the passenger air bag off the light is still lit.
this happened before, but i thought it was becuase i left the glove box door open and the light stayed on temporarily fusing the relay contacts together.
The radio stays off, the wipers and windows dont roll up and down. the only thing i can see that is getting power is the a/c unit and the passengere air bag switch.
Any suggestions?
thanks
Scott

Ok, another peice of info I discovered tonight.
If I am driving and I have the headlights on, and I shut the truck off the blower and passenger side airbag light will stay lit(if I have the airbag shut off) until I turn off the headlights. As long as the headlights are on, the warning lamp is on and the blower will run. Turn the headlamps either off or parking lights only, and the circuits shut off. Turn the lights back on and they start running again.
Come on, someones gotta have some suggestions here.

Hmm, that would explain why the interior smells like a used jockstrap yesterday morning(when problem happened) and it rained that night...
Damn, defective V6 gaskets, problematic A/C actuators, piston slap, is there anything that is built good on these trucks?!

Thanks. So, Im guessing the windsheild seal leaks and the water gets on the backside of the fuse panel? I will check it in the morning.
Thanks again.
