remote/keyless entry door lock problem... HELP!

OK, I got the remote start working! I am now doing the the door locks. The truck is a 2000 f150 xlt that did NOT come with keyless entry.

I went to circuit city and they sold me a DEI 451M relay module. I have everything hooked up and only the driverside door lock works with the remote. Both door locks function normally when using the door switches.

What gives here?? I used the wires in the passenger side kick panel. I cut 2 wires... lock and unlock. Is there a 3rd wire I need to find?

Oh yeah, it is a Bulldog unit, I had it in my garage for over a year... so I figured I would use it in the truck.

any help would be great!!!

Thanks,
Bill

The door lock wires are located high above the e-brake. If you don't have keyless entry then you will have to 5 wire the wires. The wire colors are 16ga pink/yellow for lock and 16ga pink/green for unlock. Confirm this with a test light. When you cut the wires to do the 5 wire hook up, the wires that lead back to the drivers door will be your switch side and the other side will be your motor side. You can use the 16 ga black/white for powering up your relay. This is the same constant for your door lock switches therefore already fuse protected. Hope this helps.
