Question Power Window Noise?

I gotta question. I have a 99 F-150 x-cab 4x4 with approx 75,000 miles with power windows. When I roll the windows up or down I hear a noise thats a cross between a "click" and a "clunk" several times as the window travels up or down. The movement of the window is remains smooth and travels its full range but the noise is slightly disconcerting. Especially during the rare times I have a lady in the truck, haha , but seriously I was wondering if anyone else has had this problems and how they fixed it. Its actually started in the passenger side window..but now both windows are doing it. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

My passenger window does the same thing. I never had it looked at. I'm curious to know how to fix it also.

My 2000 did the same thing on the drivers side but luckily it was still under warranty.
They replaced the tracks and the window motor and the noise is gone. They said its uaually caused by the tracks but when I got the bill the motor had been replaced too. Had the passenger side done about 3 mths later right when it started and they replaced just the track on that side
Bad part was it looked like they dropped the motor in the drivers door and it put tiny inside to outside dings in the bottom of the door on both sides in the identical area
